Workplace Accident Causes Physical and Psychological Injuries

Hayley Briers, Partner at Sorrymate.com, managed to receive substantial compensation of over £100,000 for a client who was seriously injured as a result of a workplace accident.

The claimant was injured when he fell from height while working in the loading bay of the factory where he was employed.

As a result of the fall, our client suffered a severe injury to his wrist which meant he was unable to work for a substantial period of time.

Alongside working to secure the client’s damages, steps were also taken to arrange rehabilitation treatment. This included assistance in returning to work in a suitable role, physiotherapy and psychological therapy.

Interim payments were also obtained from the defendant’s insurers to assist our client financially while he remained unable to work.

Hayley’s drive to maximise the value of the damages resulted in a final fee worth £110,500 in compensation for the client.
