Simon Yates Named World Champion
Simon Yates of Maxgear Racing team was named a World Champion over the weekend at the track world championships.
The previously little known cyclist is part of Maxgear's cycle team whom SorryMate sponsor. The 20-year-old from Bury secured an impressive lead early on in the 160 lap point race to score an impressive 35 points and win the gold.
Yate's is now rumoured to be aiming for the 2016 Olympics.
