During a test at Cartagena in February when the Sorrymate Endurance Team were shaking off the cobwebs for the new season we met up with Joe Burns 53 who raced in BSB last year to discover that he does not have a ride this year. This has to be wrong. Joe is a very talented rider who should, by anyone’s reckoning have a decent ride this year.
While we do not have the resource to sort a superstock or superbike ride for him, Joe will be riding for the Sorrymate endurance team at a number of rounds. Fergus, the owner of Sorrymate, is lending Joe his own Kawasaki ZX6R track bike and Sorrymate will put fresh tyres on it. Come down to Oulton Park for the first round on 25/26th March 2016 for the No Limits National Endurance Championship and see him in action. When asked, Fergus said “definitely going to be there to support the team. I also want to see what a good lap time on my bike is around Oulton. I know what I have done……”
