We interviewed one of the Sorrymate.com two-wheel claim specialist Legal Executives, Stephanie Phillips, who took time out to tell us all about her love of Motorcycling.
Q. How long have you been a Biker?
Stephanie: Got my first bike when I was 18.
Q. What got you interested in Motorcycling?
Stephanie: Dad had a motorbike, although he and mum preferred cycling. It must have been in my blood, but I much preferred the two-wheeled bikes to have engines!
Q. Which bike do you ride?
Stephanie: I am lucky I have a choice – We have 3 between us:
BMW R1100S (had it since new and its now 17 years old and part of the family!)
Triumph Explorer 1200 – with two seats, the original and the lowered “baby” seat for me!
BMW F800 – my little favourite coz it’s so much FUN!
Q. Where was your best Ride-out?
Stephanie: Any ride out on the bike is good and I am lucky that I live close to many good biking areas. I do enjoy exploring Derbyshire – Bakewell has fabulous cakes and the sticky toffee pudding at the pub in Edale is wonderful! Up into the Forest of Bowland and over into Yorkshire are also good “coffee and cake” ride outs!
Q. How long have you been a Solicitor/Legal Executive?
Stephanie: Been a qualified Legal Executive now since 1999. Been with Sorrymate for 4 years and loving every minute!
Q. What do you like doing other than Biking?
Stephanie: Skiing definitely. Also walking my dogs and going camping.
Q. What is your most interesting Fact?
Stephanie: I’m not that interesting! I did do my first ever Ron Haslam race day last year as a special birthday treat and I was the only female in our group, actually, I didn’t see any other female riders at all AND I wasn’t last! AND I did get to meet Charley Boorman.
Thank you to Stephanie for telling us more about her passion for motorcycles.
