SorryMate attends annual Stormin’ the Castle event

This weekend SorryMate will be attending the annual Stormin’ the Castle event.  Stormin’ The Castle is a bikers rally held in the North-East of England at Witton Castle. Stormin’ celebrated its 25th year in 2015, whilst run independently and voluntarily, is one of the main fundraising events for the Motorcycle Action Group and over the last 24 years has been a major donator to support the ongoing fight for rider’s rights.

Along with NabbedBulldog Bash, and The Farmyard, Stormin’ the castle is one of the biggest biker rallies in the UK. The rally has played host to many famous bands including LevellersUFOHayseed DixieStranglers and Terrorvision.

What entertainment is available?

Entertainment is spread across two stages, Main stage, and the smaller Iris tent. The Iris tent has a more laid back atmosphere with a mixture of Blues, R&B, Folk and Prog. As well as a fairground, traders and caterers stalls across the site. And of course, the highlight of the weekend is the Custom Bike show!

Event Information

General adult weekend entry is £45 and includes camping as well. The rally will open at 9 am, however, on Friday you will be able to access the camping fields only. There are no general day entry tickets available. Children under 5 get in free. Children aged 5-15 pay £10. In addition to this, the first 100 entries will receive a limited edition t-shirt.
