The Bike4Life festival is one of the biggest highlights on a Biker’s calendar and this year was no exception.
The festival makes a major impact on saving lives
The Bike4Life festival is an essential time for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Raising large amounts of valuable funds for the charity, it’s a much-needed boost to help continue to save lives.
Bikers rode in the rain from all over the country to attend the ride out to show their support. In addition to this, celebrities such as Carl Fogarty MBE, Steve Parrish, Neil Hodgson, Dougie Lampkin MBE and charity ambassador, Mike Tindall MBE have all made an appearance.
The Bike4Life festival boasts a variety of fun things to do
Bikers followed a whopping 23-mile closed road from Meole Brace in Shrewsbury to RAF Cosford. From here bikers enjoyed the Bike4Life Festival. The festival itself has now rightfully earned its title as the largest motorbike gathering in the country.
The day encompassed a variety of activities. These ranged from live music, and demonstrations, activities for young children, as well as trade stands and exhibitions all tailored to the biking community. Of course, no festival is complete without food and drink and Bike4Life certainly delivered. Bikers enjoyed a variety of different food stands- with the firm favourite being the burger stand of course.
SorryMate continues to support Air-Ambulance Charities
SorryMate attended Bike4Life with their stall offering free legal advice to bikers in need of assistance. The air ambulance is a critical service to Bikers all over the UK. Unfortunately, Bikers have one of the biggest accident rates on the road. As a result, many bikers’ lives are dependant on organisations such as the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. SorryMate is proud to continuously actively promote air ambulance charities – which you can read about here.
Previous years have raised significant funds
Last year, the Bike4Life festival raised a whopping £87,000 for the Midlands Air Ambulance. This alone will fund an incredible 35 air ambulance missions across the entire region.
Jo Bailey, the events and area fundraising manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity said that:
“It’s a great event for bikers, but there’s a real family-friendly atmosphere for people who just want to come and support the charity. Tickets are just £5, or free for under 16s, and can be purchased online at bike4lifefest.com or on the day.”

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance host Motorcycle run
SorryMate were delighted to support Essex & Herts Air Ambulance as t-shirt sponsors for this weekend’s Motorcycle Run & Harwich Family Fun Day. With over 3,000 bikers attending to take part in the 60-mile trip across Essex, it is hoped the event will raise money for the charity organisation.
The event was a huge success
It was great to see so many riders present and thanks to everyone who visited our stall during the day. We look forward to continuing our association with the EHAAT and eagerly anticipate next year’s event. SorryMate will continue to support EHAAT and other similar charities.
Sorrymate.com will be at the Bike4Life show this Sunday 27th April to help raise money for Midlands Air Ambulance!
The show was a huge success last year and we had a great time so we’ll be showing our support again this year and we’ll be holding a competition to give away VIP BSB tickets to the round of your choice!
Look out for the Sorrymate marquee and come and say hi! You can also ask for more information about our upcoming insurance policies or talk to a solicitor about a potential claim you may have.
The show opens at 10am and will close at 4pm and there will be plenty to see and do for all the family!
We hope to see you there!
