Barry Sheene Festival at Oliver’s Mount 2018

Last year’s Barry Sheene Festival was an unrivalled success, with Sheene’s 1976 and 1977 World title-winning bikes both being restored for the event and then ridden by his son Freddie and 1981 British Superbike Champion Steve Parrish in a special parade session.

The racing was also thrilling, with David Bell taking full advantage of 2016 winner Dean Harrison’s absence by claiming the illustrious Barry Sheene Trophy, while there were also multiple wins for Daley Mathison, Jamie Coward, Steve & Matty Ramsden, Joey Thompson, James Cowton and Ian Stanford during a very competitive weekend.
