The Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show 2018

Our first event of 2018 is the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle show, which promises to be an exciting affair with a range of fantastic bikes, activities, guests and exhibitions throughout the three-day event.

One of the star attractions for this year is the new Michelin Grand Prix Icons paddock, which features nine of the most successful and influential GP machines across the last five decades. The line-up spans 39 years from Barry Sheene’s 1979 Suzuki XR27 to Marc Marquez’s 2017 Honda RC213V while championship-winning bikes of Valentino Rossi, Wayne Rainey, Freddie Spencer and Kenny Roberts Jnr are also on the list to be shown at the event.

Elsewhere, a wide variety of major manufacturers, including Honda, Yamaha, Ducati and Harley-Davidson, have been confirmed to showcase their 2018 collections.

Meanwhile, another new feature is the Michelin Thunderdrome live action, where riders will take on an oval consisting of a 45 degree banking, enabling high speeds and dramatic overtakes. Competitors will include Chris Walker, Neil Hodgson and Ruben Xaus, while Carl Fogarty and John McGuinness will also be in attendance for paddock pass holders to meet and greet.

McGuinness will be pulling pints behind his own bar for the first time during the weekend and is expected to bring along his own collection of bikes, trophies, leathers and memorabilia. Steve Colley will be performing his gravity-defying stunt show, plus the Coys of Kensington auction returns with another selection of bikes up for grabs.
