It has been a successful season for SorryMate’s Endurance Team. They secured the No Limits Racing ACU National Endurance 600 crown in a dominant campaign.
The team achieved a 43 point margin
Gaz Evans and Colin Norris, with notable contributions from Gary Johnson and Daniel Drayton, helped the team to achieve success. They achieved a comfortable 43-point margin at the top of the UK’s only National Endurance Championship.
The season opened up at Silverstone in March. The endurance team produced a solid second place finish. In spite of faltering in the following round at Brands Hatch by sliding to seventh.
SorryMate saw two excellent wins
The results following Brands Hatch proved to be the first and final time that SorryMate would miss out on a podium in 2017. The team responded with two excellent wins. In addition to this, it was on top of terrible weather conditions in May and July at Donington Park. The success didn’t stop here. The team also managed to take home second position at Anglesey Coastal. This allowed them to climb to the top of the championship standings.
And they refused to relinquish control of the competition having hit the front, registering the third win at Snetterton in between third-place finishes at Cadwell Park and Croft that saw Sorrymate seal the title with a race to spare.
The team celebrated in style
The team celebrated in style with another podium to cap off a sensational year and this was after claiming a haul of 176 points out of a possible 225 from the nine rounds.
